Cabourg Classic 2025 wasn't just about high-level sport: it was also a truly festive family event. Nearly 25 visitors enjoyed a program packed with entertainment throughout the event. Among the highlights, Elisa Laville delighted the audience with 000 performances, including a premiere in the heart of the city of Cabourg, and a final one on the Tribunes track, just before Sunday's 11* Grand Prix. Around the tracks, everyone found something to marvel at: pony rides, a carousel, a sports village by Decathlon, and not forgetting the younger visitors' corner with Classic Kids. A friendly atmosphere, for young and old alike, makes Cabourg Classic an event to share.

Already victorious on Thursday, the Frenchman secured a second resounding victory in Sunday's 4* CWD Grand Prix of the city of Cabourg rated at 1.55m with Vida Loca Z. Impeccable on the Tribunes track, the pair flew over the jump-off with more than three seconds ahead of Robin Van Thillo (BEL), second, and Dimme D'Haese (BEL), third. A high-flying finale to conclude this 2025 edition.

The fourth edition of the Haras d'Authuit Challenge officially kicked off this weekend at the Cabourg Classic. This unique circuit takes place over three stages of the Normandy Summer Tour: Cabourg Classic 4*, Sotheby's International Realty CSIO 3* Deauville, and Longines Deauville Classic 4*. The principle: to reward the most consistent rider in the major events of these three competitions, including the Grand Prix and events counting towards the Longines World Ranking. The highest points total will open the doors to an exceptional reward: the choice of a foal born in 2024 at the Haras d'Authuit, the product of exceptional crossbreeds (Quel Homme de Hus, Untouchable 27, Stakkatol, etc.). The three previous winners, Péneloppe Leprevost, Mariano Martinez Bastida, and Victor Bettendorf, each chose a promising young talent directly from the stud farm. The next stage of the challenge will take place at the CSIO in Deauville, with a new opportunity to score points towards this unique prize combining performance and high-level genetics.

Former world number one after 33 months at the top of the FEI rankings, Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) demonstrated his talent in the Cabourg arena. Riding Glamour Girl, he won Saturday's Range Rover Grand Prix, ahead of Robert Whitaker (GBR) and Odile Gierech (LUX). A solid and masterful performance for one of the biggest names in world show jumping.

At the press conference held on April 16 at the Cabourg racecourse, institutional partners welcomed the rise of the Cabourg Classic, which this year earned its fourth star. Driven by the momentum of the Normandy Summer Tour and supported by the Normandy region and the city of Cabourg, the event has established itself as a must-see on the international calendar. Thanks to major work on the competition tracks, the competition will welcome more than 4 horses and 500 riders in optimal conditions, and is expecting 250 spectators.

For the Cabourg Classic, visitor parking will be free for the duration of the event. The entrance to the venue will exceptionally be from the Public Golf Course side. Dedicated signage has been installed in town: simply follow it to easily reach the parking lot and the competition entrance. Follow the signs, park stress-free, and fully enjoy the show!
