An event not to be missed
Since 2021, the Cabourg racecourse, in the heart of the Pays d’Auge, has been the setting for CABOURG CLASSIC, an international show jumping event supported by the Normandy Region.
From June 3 to 5, 2022, for its second edition, CABOURG CLASSIC will welcome some of the world’s greatest riders on the Dives and Tribunes tracks. During the weekend, you can find a CSI 3*, a CSI 1* and a CSI Young Horses.
It is in Cabourg, at the crossroads of elegance and conviviality, that the world’s greatest riders and best hopefuls will meet for four days of great sport, on two magnificent competition tracks, freshly renovated in 2021 to welcome the athletes in the best conditions.
An exceptional quality of welcome
Thanks to the work undertaken on the Cabourg racecourse, including the transformation of the grass track into a sand arena, riders are welcomed in optimal conditions on two tracks.
These infrastructures adapted to their expectations, associated with a beautiful sports program, have allowed us to attract a very good number of riders for a first edition.
We can also offer an event attentive to the well-being of horses, which is the main concern in equestrian sports nowadays.
CSI 1* TOUR NORMANDIE, the meeting place for normandian riders
In order to complete the sports offer of CABOURG CLASSIC, and because it was important for the organizers and the Region to give a privileged place to the Norman riders during this great sports meeting, the riders having a license affiliated to a Norman club will have priority access to the CSI 1* events at a preferential rate of 600€ HT. The selection of the riders will be made by the Regional Committee of Equitation of Normandy (COREN), within the limits of the available places.
This preferential rate will allow Norman riders to enter the CSI 1* Tour Normandie, composed of two events per day, rated either at 1.10m or at 1.20m.
